New Years Resolution
/There are 5 Components to my new years resolution.
- Post a blog once a week.
- Instagram once a week
- Stretch 3 times a week
- Better manage my money
- Make some YouTube Videos at some point
My life has no constancy, I don't know where I'm working next week what days or what hours. I don't have much of a plan as to what I'm going to do after work. No idea what my sleep schedule is going to be like. This is probably the hardest thing for me to deal with. Which is interesting because it's what I've always wanted, to be in control of my schedule. Turns out its much easier when some other factor forces my schedule. So, having the freedom in my schedule is still something I want I just need to manage it more responsibly. My goal here is to add other things to my schedule that will be concrete. The hope with these 6 resolutions is that my idle time will be more controlled and more steady.
Some effects I can already see. For example I never used to bring my laptop with me anywhere, now since I have to write a blog at some point I take my computer everywhere. It's good! I can get lots of work done on other business things while I'm out and about just because I have it.
I don't like social media for the most part, but in order to be a successful entrepreneur in this day and age having a presence on the internet is necessary. Rather than go hard on all the social platforms I thought I'd have my own website. I think it will be much more difficult to build and audience but those that do read will be loyal. Regardless I need to have at least one social platform and Instagram has always been my favorite out of them. I can link my Insta feed to the site here on the right which adds a cool touch. It will keep photos on the site updated and ever changing which will be good. Check out my Insta here
I don't have the best diet but I am somewhat health conscious. And rather than setting a lofty goal of changing my diet or working out I thought I'll start with stretching. I'm very not flexible I can't even touch my toes I can hardly make it half way down my shins, its embarrassing. It's the 13th today and I'v only stretched twice this year. but I will keep this one going.
Just tracking the money you spend will reveal a lot and will naturally change the way you spend money. I made an excel sheet to track my money but its not complete yet. Once it is complete I'll post it and make it downloadable for people if they want to see/use it.
